Website presentation

The platform, part of the Wildlife of Kazakhstan project dedicated to the wildlife of Kazakhstan, was presented on September 11 at the Rixos President Astana Hotel in Astana. A photo exhibition of animals, specially created for this project by National Geographic Qazaqstan photographers, was also presented to the event's guests.

The event was attended by representatives of partner companies such as Chevron, which supported the project’s implementation, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, scientists in the fields of ecology and zoology, university students, journalists, and bloggers.

During the presentation, representatives from the EcoForming Foundation for Ecology and Education, which implemented the project, and Chevron, which provided financial support, noted that the new platform has great potential for preserving Kazakhstan’s biodiversity. A mini-lottery was held among the audience, and memorable gifts were presented to the winners.

The website is designed to help internet users learn more about the wildlife of Kazakhstan and to showcase unique portrait photographs of animals and birds. We also remind you that work continues on creating high-quality portrait photographs that reflect the diversity and characteristics of each living being. The photo gallery is regularly updated with new photographs and the latest encyclopedic data. The project is supported by the Kazakhstan Institute of Zoology and National Geographic Qazaqstan magazine.
