Population: There are no exact data on the numberin Kazakhstan, but the population in the country is stable. According to preliminary estimates, the global population is approximately 40 million to 75 million adults.

Status: Non-endangered species of economic value other than hunting.

Habitat.The Collard dove breeds along the valley of the Zhaiyk River and further to the northeast, covering settlements in the northern part of Aktobe and Kostanayregions. It can also be found in the mountains and foothills from Tashkent to Altai, and further along the Irtysh Valley to Pavlodar. It lives in villages and cities, where it prefers areas of single-storey buildings.
