DISTRIBUTION

As a resident of a tall forest, the long-eared owl in Kazakhstan inhabits the forest-steppe zone and mountain and riparian forests in the south and east, which are absent in most deserts, semi-deserts and steppes. It winters in Africa and South Asia, and can be found anywhere in our country while flying, and at this time it also occurs in completely treeless areas.
