Status: Category 1. A rare species that is on the verge of extinction.

Distribution: At the beginning of the 20th century, it nestled on the Ukok Plateau near the borders of Kazakhstan, in the Black Irtysh delta, along the Irtysh below the lake. Zaisan is 25 km above Semipalatinsk, and, apparently, also on Lake Zaysan. Markakol in Southern Altai. Until the middle of the 20th century, he often migrated and even in winter in the Ili Valley, between the Syr Darya and Amu Darya rivers; his last meeting was in October 1962.
